My Nostalgic place in kerala

IYC, Islamic Youth Center.. provides accomodation specially for youths.
While we were studying at Govt Engineering College, Calicut we stayed at IYC.

But not the youths filled the rooms.. oldage gangs were there...!!
Still some are there.. hmmmmmmmmmm!!...just joking

My BTech life started on a cool december 1999 from GEC. For the first 3 months I was with the royal mechs gang..Vibhu..Rafeek.. Sreesankar.. Prasanth .. Jose.. - the 'talls'!.. really enjoyed there.. But no Chempals for me to have combine study or else...So decided to acquire a new hostel.. And finally reached IYC.

Here starts the golden period..campus life!!


Shafin.. Ibrahim, habid.. anas.. darwish... rasheed.. Salimika.. karimika.. nisarika.. aman salamika.. hyder ika.. sakeer bhai.. armanika..fazlu.. shabeer..azkar..sadik... the list is not so short.. But atleast these names should be mentioned..

Each morn and eve had something pleasing to give us.. After subh.. we had jogging.. cricket..football..then the 'tea' time.. from National canteen. Some body would be there to meet..!! The play grounds be vary from beach to Planetarium.

IYC, one of my best place with out which there would be a void in my life, molded me to a youth turned from just teen. The flexibility we enjoyed there because of the non-written strictness. We felt brotherhood over there. Nobody having selfish characters, so it made us live as in a home. The entire environment provided us study hall, library, stages for debut art and cultural activities.

While channels were blinking we learned different political crisis, discussed current situations, sometimes went for debate and ends with "kattan".

The incidents, later became the stories all merged as "experience"
